ONE DAY ONLY
We are thrilled to invite you to our event on December 21st 2018!
Since June 21st/Summer Solstice we have been researching and developing material for Snow Q – our project to re-imagine Hans Christian Andersen’s story The Snow Queen along contemporary themes. The culmination of this process will be a work-in-progress collaborative installation and we welcome feedback on your responses. It will feature poetry, performance, music, art and video. Some performances will be live with an actor and a musician and some pre-recorded.
The installation will take place in:
This amazing, atmospheric historic building is un-renovated and unheated, with no facilities. We recommend you wear suitably warm clothing!
The installation will be open from 4pm till 9pm
Last admittance will be at 8pm
You are welcome to come at any point between 4-8pm on the day of the event. The event is free but in order to avoid disappointment we strongly recommend booking a time slot through our Eventbrite page
We are sorry that access is limited as the venue can only be reached down 12 steps to the basement where the installation will take place in various rooms on one floor. Please note this is a circular site specific installation which will require you to make your way though several rooms and mostly stand in order to experience all the art forms. There will be a few chairs for those who need to sit down.
We can’t wait to show you what we have been working on and look forward to seeing you there!
